This artist mined, cut, and polished stone comes from a small mining claim in southern Nevada, Columbia 23, no longer claimed by ourselves. The pink mineral is most likely rhodonite, in a mix of dolomite, with touches of chrysocolla. Cut into a mushroom, and set into a handmade copper setting, with a verdigris finish, sealed with a protective coating. The bail features diamond cuts to reveal the shiny copper beneath the verdigris
